Description
The GROWtect Tree Bag is a watering bag that ensures a consistent water release within 5 to 8 hours without collapsing.
Suitable for trees with trunk circumferences from 8 cm to 30 cm. For larger trunk circumferences, multiple watering bags can be connected using the zippers.
Reusable for several years.
To achieve long-term success for the roots and trunk, we recommend the following application for tree watering bags:
For the first two years after planting, the primary goal is to keep the existing roots alive within the root ball.
Therefore, during this period, the water source (watering bag) should be mounted directly above the root ball on the tree trunk to successfully navigate this critical phase.
By the third year, the tree is sufficiently established that the watering bag can be mounted a little further away, near the tree anchor.
This encourages the roots to grow further out of the root ball, allowing them to establish themselves permanently in the planting hole and providing the tree with a secure foundation for the future.
Bulky Items and Dangerous Goods require special freight requirements.
Bulky Items are classified but not limited to; long poles, heavy long rolls, large heavy boxes, bales and pallets. In general bulky items are flagged as such on the product thumbnail and product detail page.
Items indicated as Dangerous Goods will require an approved Handler Certificate to be presented before freight can be arrange.
As per Bulky items, orders that contain Dangerous Goods are not eligible for Free Freight.
